How should I consume my Alvéa honey?
To fully enjoy its benefits, we recommend 1 to 2 teaspoons per day. You can consume it directly by the spoonful, add it to your hot beverage (tea, coffee, or golden milk), blend it into smoothies, or spread it on toast. To preserve its nutrients, avoid heating it above 40°C (104°F). Consume it regularly for optimal results.
How can I store my honey so that it stays fresh?
Store your honey in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. No refrigeration is necessary! Close the lid tightly after each use. Raw honey has a shelf life of 12 to 24 months. Honey's natural antibacterial properties help preserve it.
Why is my honey crystallizing?
Crystallization is a sign of quality and purity! It's a natural process that occurs with raw, unpasteurized honey. If your honey crystallizes, simply place the jar in a warm water bath (maximum 40°C/104°F) for a few minutes, stirring gently. You can also consume it crystallized—some even prefer this texture!
How much should I consume daily?
We recommend 1 to 2 teaspoons (5-10g) per day for adults. Start with a small amount and gradually increase, especially with blends containing adaptogens. Children over 1 year old can consume ½ to 1 teaspoon. Honey is contraindicated for babies under 12 months. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any medical conditions, consult your healthcare professional.
